QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE
Two-Line Speakerphone with
Caller ID/Call Waiting 992
This Quick Reference Guide provides basic instructions. For complete
instructions which allow you to use all features of this phone, refer to
your Two-Line Speakerphone with Caller ID/Call Waiting 992 User's
Manual, Part 2. Page references are provided for your convenience.
INSTALLATION
Install a 9V alkaline battery (not included). The battery is needed for
feature operation during a power failure.
Connect the handset and line cords.
Connect the power adapter.
MENU OPERATION AND
FEATURE SETUP
Use the on-screen menu to change settings for the 992 features and to program
the One Touch and Directory memories.
Access the menu by pressing E when the phone is idle.
Use + and - to move through the menu.
Use < and > to change the settings.
Press E to make a selection.

To return to the call, press the LINE button of the call. The call will automatically be reconnected in the original mode (speakerphone or headset) or you can lift the handset if automatic line selection is set to Off.
