Getting Started with the Cover Screen

Basic Settings for the cover screen of the Phone
Change Themes
Go to Settings > Home/Exterior screen & wallpaper > Exterior screen, choose your desired
theme in the Themes tab, and touch Apply.
Add Service Widgets to the cover screen
Add Service widgets to the cover screen for easier access.
Go to Settings > Home/Exterior screen & wallpaper > Exterior screen, touch Edit in the
Service widgets tab, and follow the onscreen instructions to add or delete Service widgets
or hold and drag the widgets to adjust their order.
Common Operations for the Cover Screen of the Phone
After unlocking the cover screen with your face or fingerprint, you can view notifications, play
music, answer calls, and much more directly from the cover screen without having to unfold
the device.
Phone Cover Screen Control
After unlocking the cover screen, you can perform the following on its home screen:
Swipe right to access the event card list and view or manage apps that are running, such as
for switching songs.
Not all apps support event cards.
Swipe left to access the service widget list and touch to use the services of the service
widgets that have been set, such as for taking selfies with the camera.
Swipe down to access the Notification Center and view notifications.
Answer or Reject Calls on the Cover Screen
When a call comes in, you can swipe right on the profile picture or
to answer the call, or swipe left to reject it.
After answering a call, you can:
Touch the button on the right to switch between audio output channels, including

Bluetooth earphones and hands-free devices.
Touch the button on the left to mute or unmute audio.
