A charging cable that has been approved for

the vehicle.
The charging process can vary depending on the
power supply equipment.
Shorter charging times can be achieved in the fol-
lowing ways:
Charging at a wallbox.
R
Charging at a charging station.
R
When doing so, always observe the local informa-
tion.
Do not leave the charging cable controls hanging
loose from a mains socket.
Do not li the controls by the following compo-
nent parts:
The charging cable connector.
R
The mains plug.
R
When charging, protect the charging cable control
element from excessive heat such as direct sun-
light. Otherwise, the charging process may be
cancelled.

Only connect the charging cable to a

For safety reasons, only use charging

cables that have been tested and
approved by the manufacturer for charg-
ing the high-voltage battery in an electric
vehicle.
Never use damaged charging cables.

Do not extend the charging cable.

Do not use adapters.

ing instructions for the wallbox.
If charging at a wallbox without pre-installed
cable, use the optionally available charging cable
for wallbox and charging station (mode 3). The
charging cable is stowed in a bag in the boot/
luggage compartment.
Only use charging cables that have been tested
and approved by the manufacturer for charging
the high-voltage battery in an electric vehicle.
