GREASE FITTINGS
See the Specifications section for the correct lubricant.
Do not let excessive grease collect on or around parts,
especially when operating in sandy soil. Be sure to clean
the grease fittings thoroughly prior to using the grease
gun. Check each lubrication point during lubrication to
make sure lubricant is being applied correctly. Check for
loose, missing, and worn parts when lubricating the
machine.
FIG. 46: Implement driveline (1). Lubricate every 8
hours.
FIG. 47: Gearbox output splines (1). Lubricate every 50
hours.
FIG. 48: Tailgate pivot (1) on balers without a kicker -
both sides. Lubricate every 50 hours.
Use a ladder of sufficient strength to climb up and add
grease to the kicker pivot.
