1. Drain the gasoline from the fuel tank into an approved container.
2. Drain the engine oil (page
3. Release the recoil starter rope from the handlebar rope
guide.
4. Disconnect the flywheel brake cable from the engine.
5. Remove the blades.
6. Remove the 3/8-24 x 1" flange bolt and remove the
blade holder and Woodruff key from the crankshaft.
7. Support the engine, remove the four 5/16-24 x 1"
engine mounting flange bolts, and remove the
engine.
