• If it is, replace it.
Assemble the phone, start it and set the clock at the correct time. Wait a few minutes
to allow the backup capacitor to begin charging. Remove the battery and attach it
again after one minute. Make sure the fault is fixed. (The backup capacitor needs to
be charged for a few hours before it is fully charged.)
Compare to clock with the correct time.
• If the clock in the phone is speeding or halted, proceed to section 10.3.

Open the phone and check the soldering at B600.
CORRECT: 1. Replace B600 (class A).
2. Replace C690 (class A) and C691 (class A).
Assemble the phone and compare to a clock with the correct time.
If the fault still remains, send the phone to Advanced Repair.
