10 RTC

10.1 Finding the fault.
Start the phone with a SIM-card and a fully charged battery attached. Set the clock
at the correct time. Remove the battery and attach it again after one minute.
* If the clock in the phone shows 00:00, proceed to section 10.2.
Compare to a clock with the correct time.
* If the clock in the phone is speeding or halted, proceed to section 10.3.
10.2 The clock shows 00:00 after removing and
reattaching the battery.
Open the phone and make sure the backup capacitor C720 (class A, Fig. 10.1) is
correctly soldered.
