If I
CDAT or I
CCLK voltage is missing, measure the resistance of R619 (~6.8
kohms), R620 (~6.8 kohms), R615 (~0 ohms) and R614 (~10 kohms, all of class A,
R619 and R620 in fig. 5.2 and R615 and R614 in fig. 5.1).
• If any of the resistances are incorrect, replace the corresponding resistor.
• If the resistances are correct, measure the resistance from I
(>10 kohms).
* If the resistance is too low, replace V750 (class A, fig. 5.1).
Check the solderings at pin 3 and 4 of D600 (fig. 5.2).
• If the solderings are correct, replace D600 (class B).
If VLCD is incorrect, measure the voltage at pin 1 of V611 (~3.8V, fig. 5.2).
• If there's no voltage, replace R480 (class A, fig. 5.2).
* If that doesn't help, send the phone to Advanced electrical repairs.
Measure the resistance from VLCD to ground (>100 kohms).
• If the resistance is too low, replace C633 (class A, fig. 5.2).
* If the fault remains, replace F620 (class A, fig. 5.1).
Measure the voltages at pins 95 (~3.0V, PWM1) and 96 (~180mV, PWM0) of D600.
