Menu 4 8, Beep-On-Roam
Activate this feature and your phone will beep once if you
travel outside your home area while in a call.
See “Roaming Indicators” on page 39 for more details on
roaming indicators.
Menu 4 9, Menu List
This feature lets you choose either a shortened or com-
plete menu list. The complete menu contains all menu
items, whereas the short menu shows only the most es-
sential menu items, namely: Messages ( /,67(1 72

%2; 180%(5 ), Phone Settings ( 5(6725( 6(77,1*6/
0(18 /,67 ), Alert Options, and Activate Keyguard. The
default setting is &RPSOHWH .
Menu 4 10, Language
You can choose English, Spanish, or French for all of your
phone’s displays. The default setting for your phone is
English.
Menu 4 11, Network Time
You can set your phone to display the day of the week, date,
and time when your phone is in idle state and during a call.
Because this feature is network-sup-
ported, there is no need to set the
date or time. However, you must ac-
tivate this feature through your
phone’s menu. This feature functions
in areas only where digital service is
available.
To display network time
Your phone can display both day of the week, time, and
date, or just the time. With the display empty,
