The rectangular buttons numbered 0l to 20 on the
operation panel. each of which may be registercd as
a lax or tclephone numbcr. Once a nur.nbcr is regis-
tered. you press one button to dial the entire nunt-
ber.

A timing entry required fbr rcgistering certain long
distance numbers and tbr dialing out through sorllc
te lephone systems or switchboards.
PBX

Polling
Rcquesting anothcr tax rnachine to send a docutnent
to your FAXPHONE. This f'eatrrre is useful lirr ob-
taining a document whcn the original docurttent is
waiting in the other tax and thc lax operator is not
there. See Polling ID.

An eight-di-eit binary number (binary= 0 or l) used
to control your ability to request another ihx tna-
chine to send documents to your FAXPHONE.

Redialing-automatic
When the tax you dial does not answer or a sending
error occurs, the FAXPHONE waits tirr a spccified
interval and then redials the same f ax number. You
can adjust the number of redials and thc length ot
timc between redialing.
Redialing-manual
When you use the regular dialin-e method. you can
quickly call the last number dialed by pressing IRE-
D I A L I .
