Save a call log entry to the directory

1. When in the call log, press
2. Press
/SELECT to select an entry. The screen displays EDIT NUMBER.
MENU
3. Use the dialing keys to edit the number, if necessary.
• Press
/DELETE to backspace and erase a digit.
MUTE
• Press and hold
• Press
CID to move the cursor to the left or DIR
• Press and hold
• Copy a number from the redial list by pressing REDIAL/
CID, DIR , or by pressing REDIAL/
/SELECT to copy the number.
MENU
4. Press
/SELECT to move to the name. The screen displays EDIT NAME.
MENU
• Use dial pad keys to add characters.
• Press
/DELETE to backspace and erase characters.
MUTE
• Press and hold
• Press
CID or DIR
• Press # to insert a space.
5. Press
/SELECT when done and the handset shows SAVED.
MENU
• If the entry is already saved in the directory, the handset shows
ALREADY SAVED. If there is no caller ID information, the handset shows
UNABLE TO SAVE
NOTES:
1. You may need to change how a caller ID number is dialed if the entry does not
appear in the correct format. Caller ID numbers may appear with an area code
that may not be required for local calls, or without a 1 that may be needed for
long distance calls (see page 33).
2. If neither the name nor number is provided, UNABLE TO SAVE appears.

/DELETE to erase the entire entry.
MUTE
/PAUSE to insert a dialing pause (p appears).
REDIAL
/DELETE to erase all characters.
MUTE
to move the cursor to the left and right.
