If TTY mode is enabled, the audio quality of non-TTY
devices connected to the headset jack may be impaired.

911 Emergency Calling
It is recommended that TTY users make
emergency calls by other means, including
Telecommunications Relay Services (TRS),
analog cellular, and landline communications.
Wireless TTY calls to 911 may be corrupted when
received by public safety answering points
(PSAPs), rendering some communications
unintelligible. The problem encountered appears
related to TTY equipment or software used by
PSAPs. This matter has been brought to the
attention of the FCC, and the wireless industry
and the PSAP community are currently working
to resolve this.

Phone Setup Options

Shortcuts
Your phone offers you the option of assigning shortcuts to
favorite or often-used functions. Pressing the navigation key to
the assigned direction in standby mode will launch your
personally designated shortcuts.
1.
Press
Menu > Settings > More... > Navigation Keys
2. Select a navigation key direction (Up, Down, Left, or Right)
and press .
3.
Using the navigation key or your keypad, select a shortcut
and press . (If there are additional levels available,
press before selecting your shortcut.)
4.
Press to return to standby mode.
Call Answer Mode
Select how to answer incoming calls on your phone: whether
you want to be required to press
key, or simply to open the phone.
