Note Your phone’s battery should have enough charge for your phone to turn on and find a signal, set up your voicemail, and make a call. You should fully charge your battery as soon as possible. See “Charging the Battery” on page 17 for details. Activating Your Phone If you purchased your phone at a Sprint Store should be activated and ready to use.
Setting Up Your Voicemail All unanswered calls to your phone are automatically transferred to your voicemail, even if your phone is in use or turned off. Therefore, Sprint recommends that you set up your voicemail and personal greeting as soon as your phone is activated. Voicemail Password You’ll create your voicemail password (or passcode) when you set up your voicemail. See “Setting Up Your Voicemail” on page 4 for more information on your voicemail password. Roaming on Other Digital Networks When you’re roaming on digital networks, your call quality and security will be similar to the quality you receive when making calls on the Sprint National Network. However, you may not be able to access certain features, such as data services, depending on the available network.
