Customizing your notebook
Using the internal timer
Click on Timer at the left of the dialog box, and then select the application you want to link to the Timer.
You can use the internal timer to start software at a specific time. It can start applications even when the
computer is in System Suspend or System Hibernation mode.
Setting up i.LINK
Click on i.LINK at the left of the dialog box, and then select one of the available tabs.

Selecting display modes

This notebook uses the ATI video controller. You can select which display is used when the computer is
connected to an external display.
To select a display, proceed as follows:

Click the Start button, select Settings and then click Control Panel.
The Control Panel appears.

Double-click Display.
The Display Properties dialog box appears.

Click the Settings tab.

Click the Advanced button.
The ATI Rage Mobility AGP dialog box appears.

If you cannot see the movie on the external display, click the Displays tab in order to set the external
display to the primary display.

Go to the Panel section.

Set the external display to the primary display by clicking on the Secondary check mark.
The primary display is set.

For more information on your ATI Rage graphic chip, go to Start, select Settings and then click Control Panel. Double-click on the Display icon
and select the Settings tab where you click on the Advanced button.
