Information on Using the Jog Dial

The following functions are preinstalled in the Jog Dial launcher.
Name Description
VAIO Web Press the Jog Dial to go to the VAIO home page
VAIO-Link
Press the Jog Dial to go to the VAIO-Link home page
Club VAIO Press the Jog Dial to go to the Club VAIO home page
Suspend/Hibernation Press the Jog Dial to select a power saving mode. See
"Controlling Power Management" for more information.
Monitor Press the Jog Dial to toggle through the computer display and
the LCD.
Only LCD / LCD and external display / only external Display g

TV output/ LCD Press the Jog Dial to toggle through the external display
connected to your computer and the LCD.

Brightness Turn the Jog Dial to adjust the brightness of the LCD screen.
Press the Jog Dial to confirm the adjustment.
Volume Turn the Jog Dial to adjust the volume of the internal
speakers.
Mute Press the Jog Dial to mute the volume of the internal speakers.
Bass Boost Press the Jog Dial to increase the basses on your headphones.
