inStallation architectureS

As previously described, speakerphone Voice Box is connected to 2G Lift Dialer Emergency phone with 2 wires only.
For a good audio quality we suggest the use of a twisted pair for the connection.
Otherwise it is possible:
- to use two unused wires already present in the cabin cable;
- to use the two wires already present that are used for the bell, after having modified the system as described in paragraph
RELAY1: BELL MANAGEMENT.
In these cases the audio quality could not be so good.
The following installation architectures suggested by Digicom can be used both for new systems and for modernizations
independently by the Digicom Emergency phone card used and by its allocation, the possible installations can be:
• BASE INSTALLATION (see installation scheme in the next pages)
Connection of a Voice Box in car to 2G Lift Dialer, placed directly behind the car operating panel. Then 3 external
buttons will be connected to Voice Box Car:
• Car = 1 Voice Box Car placed directly behind the car operating panel with the external button.
• Top / Pit = 2 external button can be placed on the Top and/or Pit. For the connection of Top and/or Pit buttons it is
possible to use the model Voice Box Button.
• COMPLETE INSTALLATION (see installation scheme in the next pages)
This architecture connects a maximum of 3 speakerphone units to 1 2G Lift Dialer Emergency phone:
• Car = 1 Voice Box Car placed directly behind the car operating panel with the external button.
• Top / Pit = 2 Voice Box Top / Pit.
• MULTI LIFT INSTALLATION (see installation scheme in the next pages)
This architecture is similar to the Base Installation, but in this case the cabins can be 3 at maximum, then a total of
maximum 3 Voice Box Car:
• In each Car = 1 Voice Box Car placed directly behind the car operating panel with the external button.
• Top / Pit (of each cabin) = 2 external buttons can be placed on the Top and/or Pit. For the connection of Top and/
or Pit buttons it is possible to use the model Voice Box Button.
Furthermore in all architectures it will be possible to connect a common phone to the 2G Lift Dialer for the intercom function
between the frame controller and the lift cabin. The same phone can be also used for the local configuration and for the
recording of the eventual alarm message.
