Note: All programming of profiles and preferences are stored within the motor controller. It is recommended that the program be "Read" or save prior to
replacement. Once the controller has been replaced the stored program can be "Written" or loaded back into the controller. This process can be accomplished
with a DTT or PC programmer.
1. Disconnect battery power prior to servicing the motor controller.
a. Carefully remove seat. (See owners manual Sec. I. Seat Removal).
b. Remove the shroud by first removing the six fasteners (Fig. 1) using a flat head screwdriver as shown (Fig. 2). Then lift up on the shroud.
c. Unplug batteries from the chair (Fig. 3).
2. The controller is mounted at the rear of the chair (Fig. 4). Firmly lift up on the controller. The controller mounts securely using 2 locating pins.
3. Unplug the 2 motor connectors, battery connector, bus connector, and inhibit/actuator connector. (Connectors have locking latches that require releasing
by squeezing with fingers while pulling connectors.)
