Installing the Cutting Mower

1.
Position mower under the carrier frame.
2.
Mount the mower to the carrier frame with four
(4) clevis pins and hairpin cotters (Fig. 3).
Note:
All four pins must be in the same hole
locations to prevent uneven cutting.

Installing the Drive Belt

1.
Release latches holding covers to the top of the
mower, over gearbox pulley, and remove.
2.
Install the drive belt around the jackshaft pulley,
on the traction unit, and the gearbox pulley.
Raise the idler pulley and position over the
upper portion of the drive belt (Fig. 4).
3.
Install mower covers and secure latches.

POTENTIAL HAZARD
When the mower is attached to the traction
unit, without additional weight, the traction
unit may become unstable.
WHAT CAN HAPPEN
Loss of traction and stability may cause
loss of control.
HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD
NEVER operate the traction unit with
mower attached, unless rear weight is
installed.
