4. OPERATION
4.1.
The cleaner must have both the cloth filter (fig.1.3) and HEPA cartridge filter (fig.1.4) fitted before use. Fit as in figs.2 and 3.

4.2.
Connect the suction tube (fig.1.5) to the drum (fig.1.1) and the extension tube (fig.1.6) to the hose. If required, fit the crevice tool
(fig.1.7) to the extension tube.
4.3.
Connect the cleaner to the electrical mains. Start the cleaner by pressing the on/off switch (fig.4).
4.4.
To empty the tank: unclip the securing clips to remove the cover. Remove the cloth filter and empty the tank.
5. MAINTENANCE
Before carrying out any maintenance or cleaning, isolate the unit from electrical power
5.1.
CLOTH FILTER CLEANING
5.1.1.
The cloth filter may be cleaned, when necessary, by removing from the tank and washing in warm water.
5.1.2.
Allow the filter to dry at room temperature for 24 hours before replacing in the machine.
5.2.
HEPA CARTRIDGE FILTER CLEANING
5.2.1.
The HEPA cartridge filter should be cleaned when a reduction of suction is noticed.
5.2.2.
To clean the cartridge, remove from the top cover by pulling gently (fig.3).
5.2.3.
For routine cleaning, use a soft bristle brush (not supplied) to remove deposits from the outside of the filter.
NOTE:
avoid breathing in airborne dust.
5.2.4.
The cartridge filter can be washed: run water through the filter from the inside to loosen deposits.
5.2.5.
When wet cleaned, leave at room temperature for at least 24 hours, or until dry to the touch.
5.2.6.
When dry, push over the top cover (fig.3) until locked firmly in place.
5.3.
CLEANING
5.3.1.
Clean with a damp cloth, DO NOT use abrasive or solvent cleaners.
