Problems with the engine
Problem
The engine does not
start.

The HOLD function or DISTRONIC PLUS is activated.
Deactivate the HOLD function (

The engine electronics are malfunctioning.

The fuel supply is malfunctioning.

Before attempting to restart the engine:
Turn the key back to position u in the ignition lock.

Press the Start/Stop button repeatedly until all indicator lamps on

Start the engine again (

If the engine does not start after several attempts:
Consult a qualified specialist workshop.
