Making a call

Several options exist to call a party, depending on whether the party's number is new or
has already been stored by the phone.
The procedures to call parties stored in the directories or logs are explained in the chapters
that are dedicated to these functions.
As soon as the contact answers, you can use any of the modes described above.

Entering the number

Using the programmable keys

The programmable keys on your phone can be assigned to the numbers of parties that you
call regularly (internal or external).
Note:
To program a key, please refer to the chapter "Programming a key", page 27.
1 - Type the number of the contact (preceded by the external access
code for an external call) directly on the keypad.
-> If your entry is not correct, you can correct it by pressing the
c
key.
2 - To confirm your entry, press
-> The number is dialled.
3 - When the called party answers, pick up the handset to talk.

access code for an external call) on the keypad.
-> The number is dialled immediately without possibility to
correct it.
• Press the programmed key.
-> The phone automatically calls the party. The display shows
the number of the party called, if available.
When the called party answers, you can talk.
