3. Disassembly and Reassemble
Description & Screws
Removing SMPS
(* TVs with Added Insulation Notch)
After removing power and performing
Capacitor Discharge.
1. Remove CNM803 wire connector
2. Push and hold down BLU Connector Tab
to release its panel lock connection
3. Lift to Release the Lock Tab on Upper
side of Board (Step 5 will assist)
4. Locate a notch in insulation sheet (not all
models)
5. Use Open Tool in notch to help release &
smoothly slide SMPS Board to the Right.
(While pushing BLU Tab & Releasing Lock
Tab)
Removing SMPS
(* TVs without Added Insulation Notch)
(Decomposition order :
• Push and hold down BLU Connector Tab to
release its panel lock connection (
• Lift to Release the Lock Tab on Upper left
side of Board (
• Use both hands to hold the board and
slide to the right to release (
NOTE
When installing the SMPS board, verify the
board is properly positioned in all 4 mounting
slots. Then Slide it to the left until locked.
Verify Lock Position.
