Boot-up Floppy Seek

Set this parameter to
Enabled
to detect the type of floppy disk drive
by tracks. Set it
Disabled
to disregard searching. Note that in
to
the Disabled setting, no warning message appears if the drive
installed is 360 KB. The default setting is
Enabled
.

Boot-up NumLock Status

On
Setting this parameter to
enables the numeric function of the
numeric keypad. Set this parameter to
Off
to disregard the function.
Disabling the numeric function allows you to use the numeric keypad
for cursor control. The default setting is
On
.

Boot-up System Speed

Set the system speed to High or Low with this parameter. The default
setting is
High
.

IDE HDD Block Mode

This feature enhances hard disk performance by allowing multisector
transfers instead of one sector per transfer. Most IDE drives, except
those with old designs, can support this feature. The default setting is
Disabled
.

Gate A20 Option

The settings for this parameter are Normal and Fast. If the data
transfer is controlled by the 8042 chip, set the parameter to Normal.
The Fast setting transfers the control to the ASICs.
