Torque Range Notes
450-500 lb-ft Always tighten the top nut first. Apply two drops of oil
(610-680 N m) between the nut and nut flange. Apply two or three
drops to the outermost two or three threads of the
wheel studs. Lightly lubricate the wheel pilots on the
hub.
40-60 lb-ft (55-80 N m) Consult the manufacturer's instructions for drive axle
shaft installation for all drive studs.
12-18 lb-ft (15-25 N m) Minimum SAE Grade 5 fasteners, flat washers only
20-25 lb-ft (25-35 N m) O-ring style
Refer to the brake manufacturer.
