Optional switch (separately-available)
The followng functons can be performed by one-touch operaton usng optonal swtch (23632656) 1 .
. Needle up/down compensatng sttchng
... Every tme the swtch s pressed, needle up/down compensatng sttchng s performed.
2. Back compensatng sttchng
... Every tme the swtch s pressed, reverse feed sttchng s performed at low speed. (It s effectve only when a constant-dmenson sttchng pattern s
selected on the panel.)
3. Functon to cancel once reverse feed sttchng at the end of sewng ... When the swtch s pressed, the next automatc reverse feed sttchng at the end of
sewng only can be canceled once.
4. Thread trmmng functon
... When the swtch s pressed, thread trmmng s performed.
5. Presser lftng functon
... When the swtch s pressed, automatc presser lftng can be executed.
6. One sttch compensatng sttchng ... Every tme the swtch s pressed, one sttch compensatng sttchng s performed.
* When using the optional switch, it is necessary to set the function with the control box. For the details, see the Instruction Manual for the control
box.

Turn OFF the power before starting the work so as to prevent accidents caused by abrupt start of the sewing machine.
[ Connection of the optional switch]
Insert the cord of the optonal swtch nto 2 and 3 of 4P connector 1 comng from the machne head. (There s no polarty.)

WARNING :
Turn OFF the power before starting the work so as to prevent accidents caused by abrupt start of the sewing machine.
Adjust the poston of the wper 6 accordng to the thckness of the materal sewn.
) Turn the handwheel n the normal drecton of rotaton to algn whte marker dot 1 on the handwheel wth marker dot 2 on the machne arm.
2) Adjust so that a clearance of 1 mm is provided between the flat section of the wiper and the side face of the needle. Tighten wiper adjust screw 3 so that
the wper 6 is pressed and fixed by wiper collar 4 .
* When there s no need to use the wper, set the wper operaton OFF accordng to the followng procedure. Ths settng can be made whle the power s
beng turned ON. (One touch settng functon.)
) Keep pushng swtch 5 for 2 seconds. The dsplay wll change to the functon settng mode.
