Pairing the SIT Remote Handset and Receiver

1. Install 4 AA batteries into the battery holder located behind the electronic control module on the pull - out
caddy (Figure 96). Note: Batteries are not required if the fireplace is connected to an AC power source.
2. Install 3 AAA batteries into the SIT remote handset (Figure 97)
3. Plug the power cord into the Tofino and open the gas supply line.
4. With the decorative front and backing plate (Figure 102 and Figure 103) removed, press the button
marked "PRG" on the caddy and press the program button once (Figure 98). The module will beep 3
times indicating that it is ready to synchronize with the remote handset.
5. On the remote handset, push the power on button once. The remote handset will beep 4 times to indicate
that the remote handset and the control module are now synchronized. The remote handset is now ready
to use.
