Important: Refer to your engine operator's manual for additional maintenance procedures.
If you leave the key in the ignition switch, someone could accidently start the engine and seriously
injure you or other bystanders.
Remove the key from the ignition and disconnect the wire from the spark plug(s) before you do any
maintenance. Set the wire aside so that it does not accidentally contact the spark plug.
Maintenance Procedure
• Change the engine oil.
• Check the hydraulic fluid level.
• Change the hydraulic filter.
• Check the safety interlock system.
• Check the engine oil.
• Clean the engine screen and the oil cooler.
• Check the mower blades.
• Clean the mower deck.
• Grease the mower deck bearings or weekly, whichever occurs first.
• Check the hydraulic fluid level.
• Check the tire pressure. or monthly, whichever occurs first.
• Check the pump drive belt.
• Change the engine oil.
• Check the spark plug.
• Check the wheel hub slotted nut.
• Clean the engine cylinder and cylinder head cooling fins
• Inspect the belts for cracks and wear.
• Check the hydraulic hoses.
• Lubricate the machine with light oil.
• Change the engine oil filter.
• Replace the fuel filter
• Grease the brake pivot and lever.
• Replace the primary air filter (more often in duty or sandy conditions).
• Adjust the caster pivot bearing.
• Replace the safety air filter (more often in duty or sandy conditions).
• Grease the front caster pivots (more often in dirty or dusty conditions).
• Change the hydraulic filter and oil.
