The QWERTY, QWERTZ, and AZERTY keyboards using the Latin alphabets have different alternate characters depending
on the language you select. For example, in French, if you tap and hold the letter A, the prediction menu displays accented
characters for the letter A. In Romanian, if you tap and hold the letter S, the prediction menu appears with ß among the
options. Experiment with the BlackBerry Keyboard to reveal the keys that contain alternate characters.
Typing in Thai
The Thai keyboard supports the following features:
The Thai language has more characters in the alphabet than there are keys on the keyboard. As a result, there is more
than one native character on one key. You can use the keyboard mapping guide that appears with the typing task to
determine how to access the second and third characters on each key.
Word prediction and flicking word suggestions up onto the screen (if you have this feature turned on).
To type an alternate character, you can press
