  • Page 9 OPERATION The operation of any tractor can result in foreign objects thrown into the eyes, which can result in severe eye dam age. Always wear safety glass es or eye shields while operating your tractor or per form ing any ad just ments or repairs. We rec om mend standard safety glasses or a wide vision safety mask worn over spectacles.

  • Page 12 OPERATION CAUTION: Alcohol blended fuels (called gasohol or using ethanol or methanol) can attract moisture which leads to sep a ra tion and for ma tion of acids during storage. Acidic gas can damage the fuel system of an engine while in storage. To avoid engine problems, the fuel system should be emptied before stor age of 30 days or longer.

  • Page 16 MAINTENANCE V-BELTS • Remove yellow cap from end of drain valve and install the drain tube onto the fitting. Check V-belts for deterioration and wear after 100 hours of operation and replace if necessary. The belts are not OIL DRAIN VALVE ad just able.
