<Connection Settings>
A WAP profile consists of a group of network settings. After setting them up, you simply switch
between the different WAP profiles, without having to re-enter the settings every time you want
to change your network connection.
At first, your phone is preset with the default WAP profiles and the first profile is set as active.
Set as Activate : This option activates the chosen setting as a current WAP profile setting to be
used for the WAP connection.
Edit : This option edits the WAP profile setting values to connect to Internet.
Add New : This option adds new WAP profile setting values.
Delete : This option deletes a WAP profile setting values.
! Note : The setting value varies according to the WAP service provider. So please contact your
network service provider for the values before using WAP services.
If you select Edit, the following options are available.
Name : WAP profile name.
Home Page Title : Home page title. This will be displayed on the main menu.
Home Page URL : Home page URL. This URL will be selected whenever Home is pressed
Direct Connection : Select between gateway On and Off.
IP Address : WAP gateway IP address.
Connection Type : Choose the connection type as required.
Data Connections : Choose the data connection that you require.
<Cache >
In the Enable Cache menu, On makes the browser to always check the cache every time the
browser opens a WAP site.
When Clear is pressed, all the cache stored are deleted.
<Cookies >
Viewed pages can be stored in a file (cookie) for faster download. Fetching pages from the
cookie loads the page faster.
Enable Cookies : Enables cookie setting.
Clear : Clears all the cookies received.
<Graphics >
For On, the graphics pictures are always displayed every time the browser opens a WAP page.
