** Propane is in L/h (LP) / gal/h (LP) / m
*** Values given are approximate
These are approximate values. Use the appropriate spec sheet or owner's manual for specific values.
Verify gas meter is capable of providing enough fuel flow to include household appliances and all other loads.
NOTE: The gas supply and pipe MUST be sized at 100% load BTU/Megajoule rating.
Always see the Fuel Data Decal on the generator set for the correct Megajoule requirement. The formulas listed
below can be used to estimate the BTU or Megajoule requirement:
– Natural Gas:
3
BTU = ft
/h x 1000
Megajoules = m
– Liquid Propane Gas:
3
BTU = ft
/h x 2500
Megajoules = m

Fuel Line Sizing

Selecting the correct size fuel line is crucial to correct
operation of the unit.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Generator set inlet size DOES
NOT dictate size of gas pipe to be used!
For further information refer to applicable codes, stan-
dards, laws, and regulations for NG and LPG.
Measure distance from generator set to fuel source.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The generator set should be
plumbed directly from fuel source through an appro-
priately sized and correctly placed fuel pressure reg-
ulator, not off the end of an existing low pressure
system.
