Bass

Set subwoofer and LFE signal range playback.
o Subwoofer Mode
Select low range signals to be reproduced by subwoofer.
LFE
(Default):
LFE+Main:
0 "Subwoofer Mode" can be set when "Speaker Config." - "Subwoofer" on the
menu is set to other than "No". (v p. 184)
0 Play music or a movie source and select the mode offering the strongest bass.
0 If "Speaker Config." - "Front" and "Center" are set to "Large", and "Subwoofer
Mode" is set to "LFE", no sound may be output from the subwoofers,
depending on the input signal or selected sound mode. (v p. 184)
Select "LFE+Main" if you want the bass signals to always be produced from
the subwoofer.

The low range signal of the channel set to
"Small" speaker size is added to the LFE
signal output from the subwoofer.
The low range signal of all channels is
added to the LFE signal output from the
subwoofer.
Rear panel
Settings
o LPF for LFE
Set LFE signal playback range. Set this when you want to change the
playback frequency (low pass filter point) of the subwoofer.
80 Hz / 90 Hz / 100 Hz / 110 Hz / 120 Hz / 150 Hz / 180 Hz /
200 Hz / 250 Hz (Default: 120 Hz)
