PROPANE & SAFETY SYSTEM
SMOKE DETECTOR:
Your vehicle is equipped with a smoke detection device for
your protection, (see Picture F-P3).
See "Floor Plan & Appliance Location" for the smoke detector
location.
This device should be tested after each time your vehicle
has been in storage, before each use, and at least once each
week during your vehicle's use.
NOTE: Upon delivery of your vehicle from the factory,
the smoke detector is inoperative due to the fact that the
battery has been reversed to prevent batery drainage.
Before operation, reverse the battery to the proper position

and test the operation of the smoke detector by pressing
the test button located on the front of the smoke detector.
To gain access the smoke detector battery, turn the smoke detector 1/4 turn counter clock wise and the detector
will remove from the smoke detector mounting base.
Be sure the smoke detector is operating while using your vehicle.
Do not block air circulation in the area where the smokedetector is located.

NOTE: Cleaning products, sealants, and some adhesives may contaminate safety detectors. All of the detectors
should be covered when using cleaning chemicals or working on the vehicles interior.
