AUXILIARY BATTERY:

The two 6-volt AGM auxiliary batteries are located in the
engine compartment on the driver side, (see Picture BP37a).
Note: The white residue on the batteries is a rust and
corrosion preventative spray.
CAUTION: BATTERY ACID CAN BURN YOUR SKIN AND
DAMAGE YOUR CLOTHING. PROTECTIVE EYE WEAR
AND GLOVES SHOULD BE WORN WHEN HANDLING
OR MAINTAINING THE COACH BATTERY(S).
Observe all battery warnings and caution labels.
NOTE: Your vehicle is equipped with two(2) group GC-2, 6-
volt Sealed AGM deep cycle auxiliary batteries. These require
no water , but do need to be kept fully charged. See the
battery manufacturers maintenance recommendations.
REPLACING THE AUXILIARY BATTERY(S):
Replacement batteries must be 6-volt, group GC-2 deep
cycle AGM or equivalent.
Ensure that the battery cable hex nuts are tightened to
10 ft-lbs, (see Picture B-P37a).
Ensure that the inverter is disconnected prior to
disconnecting the auxiliary battery.
NOTE: Both the auxiliary batteries and engine battery are
charged by the inverter/charger when plugged in to shore
power or using the optional generator. The Battery Separator
(Picture B-P37C) performs this duty.
