SPARE WHEEL STORAGE:
The spare wheel is located on the driver side inboard of
the rear runningboard door, (see Picture B-P39A) in the RS,
and on the Continental tire carrier in the SS (Picture B-
P39C).
NOTE: The spare wheel on the 3500 Sprinter-based
vehicles (RS) with the dual rear wheels is very heavy. In
most cases it would be better to have a technician (CAA,
AAA, garage, etc.) perform a wheel change
The spare on the RS is lowered by using the black L-shaped
support (stored with the jack). The U-channel on the end is
hooked on the metal bar outward of the tire and the
assembled chassis jack handle is inserted in the end of it as
a handle. While pushing down on the handle, the support
nuts can be loosened using the wheel nut wrench. When
sufficiently loose, these can be moved to the side out of the
slotted support bar and the wheel lowered by reducing
pressure on the handle. Once on the ground the wheel can
be pulled out of the holder for use.

BBQ QUICK CONNECT

The BBQ external supply line is located on the passenger
side, just forward of the rear wheel and under the
runningboard(see pictures B-P38A and B-P38B). It is held in
a pocket there. An 8 ft. extension hose for external BBQ can
be purchased from your Roadtrek dealer (part # 26009250).
