The receiver/transmitter and sensor should be linked together from the factory. It can be possible for this link to be lost on either side. Use the following procedures to re-establish this link.

Clearing the old links. Outdoor Sensor: Hold the button of the WTS for five seconds. The LED should turn on. While the LED is still on (within 5 seconds), press the button once more to confirm the clearing. Once the link is cleared, the LED will flash quickly for 2 seconds.

WIRELESS MENU ENTER TO VIEW Navigate to the wireless menu on the AquaSmart keypad and press ENTER.

OTR MENU ENTER TO VIEW The screen reads OTR MENU. Press the down arrow key to advance to the maintenance menu.

MAINTENANCE MENU ENTER TO VIEW Press ENTER.

CONNECTIONS ENTER TO CLEAR Press the down arrow key to the CONNECTIONS ENTER TO CLEAR menu and press ENTER.

SEARCHING 03:00 The screen will read “SEARCHING… 3:00” and count down from 3 minutes.

XXXX Once the receiver/transmitter sees the sensor, the 4-digit Network I.D. of the sensor will appear on the 2nd line of the AquaSmart’s display. Pressing up or down will cycle through multiple device I.D.s if more than one sensor is found. Press ENTER.

CONNECT: XXXX ENTER OR CANCEL The screen will read CONNECT XXXX where XXXX is the Network I.D. of the sensor. Press ENTER.

CONNECTED XXXX Once the two are linked, the LED on the sensor will flash quickly for 10 seconds and the AquaSmart’s screen will read “CONNECTED: XXXX“, where XXXX is the Network I.D. of the sensor.

OAT: AS OF 00:00 Navigate back into the OTR MENU and verify a valid OAT temperature was received and is present on the screen.
