Click Start, and then Turn Off Computer.
In the Turn off computer screen, hold down the <Shift>-key and click Hibernate.
To return to Normal mode, proceed as follows:
Turn on the computer by sliding the POWER switch in the direction of the arrow or pressing the STANDBY button.
The computer returns to its previous state.

If you slide and hold the power switch for more than four seconds, the computer will switch off automatically.

If you do not use the AC adapter for a long period of time, put your computer into Hibernate mode. This power saving mode
saves you the time of shutting down in the normal way.

When the computer is in Hibernate mode, you cannot insert a disc.

Hibernate mode requires more time than Standby mode to be activated.

It takes more time to return to Normal mode from Hibernate mode than from Standby mode.
