THE INFOBANNER

The
key gives access to the EchoNAV InfoBanner, that helps you to view the available
information about the current channel and to view additional information such as detailed
program information (EPG) and detailed channel data.
The InfoBanner shows the information related to the current channel. The information as
shown is not always available. Sometimes the service provider broadcasts only the basic
information or just the live content. EchoStar has no influence on this matter.
The InfoBanner has:

The channel information bar, to show the (favorites) list number and the channel name;
I
The satellite information dish, to show the name of the selected satellite;
I
The signal indicator, to show the signal strength (left) and signal quality (right);
I
The program information bar, to show the start time, duration indicator and program name;
I
The i-button, to show, as available, the detailed program information and channel data
such as Frequency, Polarity, Symbol rate, Video PID, Audio PID and PCR PID;
I
The service information bar, to show that additional services are available. These icons
show only if the service is available. The icons are:
- the
icon, to show that teletext is available;
- the
icon, to show that more Audio languages are available;
- the
icon, to show that more Subtitle languages are available;
- the
icon, to show that Dolby Digital audio is available;
- the
icon, to show the Parental rating information;
- the
icon, to show that a favorite list is selected, not grouped, not sorted;
- the
icon, to show that the All channels list is selected, not grouped, not sorted;
- the
icon, to show that the Current SAT list is selected, not grouped, not sorted;
- the
icon, to show that a list is selected, grouped and/or sorted.

The digital clock, to show the current local time;

The next program information bar, to show the information for the next program.

If the VOL +/- key is pressed, the volume button shows with a green volume indicator.

If the mute key is pressed, the volume button shows with a red volume indicator.
