Changing network settings

If n eeded, y ou c an c hange y our n etwork s ettings a t a ny t ime. F or e xample, i f y ou c hange t he n ame o f
your w ireless n etwork ( its S SID) o r i ts p assword, y ou w ill n eed t o c hange y our T V's s ettings s o t hat i t c an
continue t o c onnect. A lso, i f y ou d ecided n ot t o c onnect t o t he I nternet i n "
you c an u se N etwork s ettings t o c onnect a t a l ater t ime.
To c hange n etwork s ettings, f rom t he H ome s creen m enu, n avigate t o S ettings > N etwork, a nd t hen
press R IGHT. A t t his p oint, y ou c an c hoose t he f ollowing o ptions:
• Update c onnection – P ress O K t o s tart t he u pdate p rocess. T he T V u ses y our c urrent w ireless
network n ame a nd p assword t o r econfirm t he w ireless c onnection, t he l ocal n etwork
connection, a nd t he I nternet c onnection.
• Set u p n ew W i-­‐Fi c onnection – P ress O K t o s tart a s can f or w ireless n etworks. T he T V s cans f or
the w ireless n etworks w ithin r ange a nd d isplays t he f irst f ew i t f inds i n o rder, w ith t he s trongest
signals f irst. I n a ddition t o y our o wn w ireless s ignal, t he T V m ight p ick u p s ignals f rom y our
neighbors. N ow y ou c an d o o ne o f t he f ollowing:
o Select y our n etwork n ame – S elect t he n ame o f y our n etwork a nd t hen e nter y our
wireless p assword i f r equested.
o Scan a gain – I f y ou d on't s ee y our w ireless n etwork n ame i n t he l ist, s elect S can a gain t o
list a ll n etworks i n r ange. T he f irst s can l isted o nly t he f irst f ew, s trongest w ireless
signals. T he s econd s can s ometimes r esults i n a l onger l ist. I f y ou s till d on't s ee y our
network n ame, y ou m ight n eed t o a djust t he l ocation o f t he w ireless r outer o r t he T V,
turn o n y our r outer, o r m ake o ther c hanges. W hen e verything i s r eady, s elect S can
again t o r epeat t he n etwork s can.
Note: H ighlighting S can A gain d isplays a n i nformational p anel w ith t he u nique m edia
access c ontrol ( MAC) a ddress o f y our R oku T V. Y ou w ill n eed t he M AC a ddress i f y our
wireless r outer i s c onfigured t o u se M AC a ddress f iltering.
