ipSetup
The ipSetup command allows the user to define an IP
address on the device either manually or via a DHCP
server.
Syntax
ipSetup
Default Configuration
No default IP address is defined for interfaces.
User Guidelines
When the IP address is configured manually by the user,
the address must be in the range 0.0.0.0 through
223.255.255.255.
IP Addresses configured beyond the range of 224.0.0.0
are defined as multicast, experimental or broadcast
addresses.
If a default gateway is configured manually, the
IP-address and mask are required to be the same as the
gateway-address and mask.
Example
The following example displays an IP address configured
manually:
Select menu option: ipSetup
Enter configuration method (auto,manual)[auto]:

192.168.1.1
Enter Subnet Mask
255.255.255.0
Enter Default Gateway
