Your EFM Series Rotary Cutter has been carefully designed to give maximum service with minimum down time.This manual is provided to give you the necessary operating and maintenance instructions for keeping your rotary cutter in top operating condition.

    OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 3-1 GENERAL SAFETY Only qualified people familiar with this operator’s manual and tractor operator’s manual should oper- ate this machine. Operator should wear hard hat, safety glasses and safety shoes. The operator should read, understand and practice all safety mes- sages shown on the caution, warning and danger decals affixed to the cutter to avoid serious injury or death.

    3. Check blade bolts for tightness. Tighten blade bolts to 76 ft./lbs. 4. Inspect blades for wear. Replace if necessary per paragraph 4-5. Use only genuine Bush Hog replacement parts. If it is necessary to sharpen the blades, remove the blades from the spindles before sharpening.
