Replacement
1. Tape guide removal

When replacing the T3 tape guide (T drawer
guide), remove the pinch arm assembly first.
(Refer to Section 3-7.)
(1) Set the tape guide adjustment driver on top of
the upper flange as shown in the figure.
(2) Loosen the setscrew by turning the driver
knob counterclockwise a slightly amount.

It is too difficult to perform the height
adjustment for S3 guide (S tension regulator
guide), T3 guide (T drawer guide), and T6
guide (T tension regulator guide), then do not
loosen the set screw for these guides. For
another tape guides, when the tape guide
roller is only replaced, it is recommended to
loosen the set screw a slightly amount, then
the height adjustment can easily performed.
(3) Turn the driver knob counterclockwise, then
remove the upper flange from the tape guide
shaft.
(4) Pull out the guide roller from the shaft. The
lower flange and compression spring can be
removed.
