These options specify how the contents of the adaptor ROM named
in the option title are handled. The ROM area that is not used by ISA
adapter cards will be allocated to PCI adapter cards. The settings are:
Disabled
Cache
Shadow
The Optimal and Fail-Safe default settings are Disabled.
- The specified ROM is not copied to RAM.
- The contents of the ROM area are not only copied
from ROM to RAM for faster execution, it can also be
written to or read from cache memory.
- The contents of the ROM area are copied from ROM
to RAM for faster execution.
