Power
· Power Up CD Player; Add Reference Music;
· Power up X3; Set Mic/Line Input TRIM to 12 O'clock; Set Channel 1-2 HIGH and LOW to 12
O'clock; Set Channel 1 PAN to L; Set Channel 2 PAN to R; Set Master Fader to 0Db; Set
PHONES/MONITOR to 12 O'clock; Set STEREO AUX RETURN to -∞ ; Set MSTR / TAPE switch
to MSTR
· Plug P3 Power Supply into the 1RU input trim such that the clip/signal LED is green
(just before it turns red).
· Plug P3 Power Supply into the DUT.
· Plug P3 Power Supply into the 2RU.
Link Test
Look at the front panel display of 1RU, DUT,

and 2RU.
Press [BYPASS] on 1RU, DUT and 2RU

Play music on CD player.

Set X3 channels 1-2 faders to 0 dB

ISUAL
Setup / Procedures:
· Remove all Cables
Visual Inspection
Verify the following on the Complete Unit:
· Check for any loose parts contained in the unit by picking up the box a rotating it gently in all
directions
Verify the following on the top plastic enclosure and bottom metal chassis:
· There are no scratches on the plastic enclosure and metal chassis
· All nuts used to secure the potentiometers and I/O jacks are installed correctly
· The screw used to secure the Top Cover and Bottom Panel is installed
Verify the following on the Top Panel:
· The Overlay is properly installed
· The Quality of the Overlay Color and Silkscreen Text is acceptable
Verify the following on the Rear Panel:
· The Quality of the Silkscreen Text is acceptable
