TROUBLESHOOTING
4-2-7. If FDSR Door Heater does not operate
1. Please shut the water supplying prior to repair.
2. Power is applied to the one end of wires. Be careful when disassembling not to get an electric shock.
1) Ice Water(R) Valve
PCB Typical Ground REG1-GND
**Measuring point of resistance value according to heater**
FDSR Door Heater :
CN73_1 "13"(Red) <->CN72"3"(Gray) Measuring
Resistance value(63 ohm ± 7%)
**0Ω : Short trouble / Ω∞ : Open(bimetal, heater) trouble
☞ Checking method of voltage Based on PCB
typical Ground REG1-GND
1) Check the voltage of IC73-"7"
- ICE Water valve waiting (about 0V)
Based on PCB typical Ground REG1-GND
2) IC73-"10" voltage
- ICE Water valve Waiting (about 12V±0.8V)
- ICE Water valve operating (about 0.7V±0.5V)
3) Check the voltage of Water Valve operating
(AC voltage)
=> For checking the Relay SSR76 operating.
CN73_1 "13"(Red) <->CN72"3"(Gray)
- FDSR Door Heater Operating at (about AC
110V)

Yes
Does Main PCB IC01
MICOM #90 voltage change
5V/0V?
Yes
Does Main PCB
IC73-"7" have about 0.7V
Input?

Does Main PCB
IC73-"10" have about 0.7V
output?
Yes
Is the contact
point of main PCB RELAY RY78
normal?
Yes
