Crossflow heat exchanger KGXD
These assembly instructions apply exclusively to the Wolf crossflow heat exchanger
(KGXD).
Before commencing assembly, start-up or servicing, these instructions are to be read
by the personnel charged with that work.
The guidelines given in these instructions must be followed.
Installation, start-up and maintenance must be carried out exclusively by trained and
suitably qualified personnel.
The assembly instructions are part of the equipment and must be retained for future
reference.
Disregard of these assembly instructions invalidates any guarantee claims against Wolf.
The intended purpose of use of the crossflow heat exchanger is exclusively that of heat
recovery in ventilation systems.
Only air may be delivered.
This may not contain any constituents that are injurious to health, inflammable, explo-
sive, aggressive, corrosive or dangerous in any other way, since these substances can
otherwise be spread throughout the duct system and the building and impair the health
of people, animals or plants living there or even kill them.
Before assembling the crossflow heat exchanger, it must be checked that all parts
have been delivered and that nothing has been damaged during transport or storage.
If there is any damage, it is essential to rectify it before continuing with the assembly.
An even, horizontal base with a sufficient load-bearing capacity is required for the
installation of the crossflow heat exchanger.
The lower unit frame must rest completely on the base. Point contact is not permitted.
