h Delete notification information and notification icon on the status bar.
• Some notification information may not be deleted.
i Display the connecting network operator name.
j You can control music or videos being played on the terminal or on other
Galaxy devices. Tapping on the Media screen and following the on-screen
instructions enables you to play music and other media on other Galaxy
devices.
k Enter the character to search apps.
• Tap to search by voice.
l Change order and layouts of the quick settings button and set display setting
of the notification icon.
m Indicates the notification panel count and current location.
n Adjust the display brightness (P.111).
o Bluetooth or other devices connected to the terminal can be easily operated.
* Some notifications will not be displayed on the notifications panel on the lock
screen and you will not be notified about them.

• Quick settings buttons are displayed in blue when the functions are
enabled.

• Tap a thumbnail of app to activate the app.
• Flick thumbnail up to delete it from the list.
• Tap "Close All" to remove the list.
• Tap the icon on the top of thumbnail to do the following.
- "App info": Set about the app.
- "Open in split screen view": Use split screen view (P.44).
- "Open in pop-up view": Some apps can be launched as a popup.
- "Change app aspect ratio": Some apps can be changed app's
aspect ratio
- "Lock this app": Locks the app to keep it running and will not
remove it from the list even if you tap "Close all".
Information
• The item displayed when you tap the icon that top of app thumbnail
is depending on the app.
Pinning apps to the screen
You can pin apps to the screen so that other apps cannot be used.
• The "Pin windows" (P.114) needs to be set to ON in advance.
