■ As the internal battery is a consumable product, it is not covered
by the warranty.
The internal battery may swell as battery life gets closer depending on
operating conditions.
Even if you sufficiently recharge the terminal but usage time significantly
decreases or the internal battery bulges, this means that the internal
battery needs to be replaced. To replace the internal battery, contact
"Technical Inquiries & Repairs" provided on the last page of this manual
or a repair center specified by DOCOMO.
■ Charge the battery in an environment with the proper ambient
temperature (5 ℃ to 35 ℃ ).
■ The operating time of the internal battery varies depending on the
operating environment and the secular degradation of the internal
battery.
■ When storing the terminal, do not store it under the following
conditions as the performance and life of the internal battery may
deteriorate if you do.
• Keeping under the state of the full charge (right after the charging ends)
• Keeping under the state of empty charge (too exhausted to turn on
the terminal)
Store the internal battery with about 40% battery charge remaining.

Adapter precautions
■ Charge the battery in an environment with the proper ambient
temperature (5 ℃ to 35 ℃ ).
■ Do not charge in the following places.
• Places that is very humid, dusty or exposed to strong vibrations
• Near by home electronics (TVs or radios, etc.)
■ The adapter could become warm while charging. This condition is
not abnormal. You can continue to use the terminal.
■ When using the DC adapter for charging, keep the vehicle engine running.
The vehicle's battery could become flat.
■ When using an outlet with a mechanism preventing unplugging,
follow the handling instructions for that outlet.
■ Do not give a strong impact to the adapter. Also, do not deform
the charging jack.

docomo nanoUIM card precautions
■ Do not use excessive force to attach/remove docomo nanoUIM
card.
■ Note that DOCOMO assumes no responsibility for malfunctions
occurring as the result of inserting and using a docomo nanoUIM
card with another IC card reader/writer.
■ Clean the IC area occasionally to use it in a clean state.
If you use the IC area when it is soiled, the terminal may not function
correctly.
■ Clean docomo nanoUIM card with a soft, dry cloth (such as a cloth
for eyeglasses).
■ Make a backup to microSD cards, PC, or cloud or maintain a
separate record of the data you saved in docomo nanoUIM card.
Note that DOCOMO assumes no responsibility for any loss of saved
data.
■ To preserve the environment, bring the old docomo nanoUIM card
to a sales outlet such as docomo Shop.
■ Do not carelessly damage, contact, or short-circuit an IC.
May cause data loss or malfunction.
■ Do not drop docomo nanoUIM card or subject it to shocks.

■ Do not bend docomo nanoUIM card or place heavy objects on it.
