Exchange account integration
You can integrate your phone with the Microsoft
authentication method. Your system administrator can integrate your phone with the Exchange
account from the back-end or provide you the access to enter your Microsoft
credentials on your phone. After successful authentication, your Exchange calendar and Contacts
are integrated with your phone.
Entering Microsoft
About this task
You can integrate your phone with Microsoft
method. Your system administrator provides you access to enter your Microsoft
credentials on your phone. Depending on the settings made by your administrator, the phone
screen displays the options to enter the details.
Before you begin
Ensure that you have valid exchange credentials.
Procedure
1. Press the Main menu.
2. Scroll to Settings and press Select.
3. Scroll to Applications and press Select.
4. Scroll to Exchange credentials and press Select.
5. (Optional) Press Toggle to select the required authentication method.
6. Do the following for the Basic authentication method:
• Enter Exchange username.
• Enter Exchange password.
• Enter Exchange domain.
• Press Toggle to select the Name/Password Prompt .
If you select Name/Password Prompt, the phone prompts for username and password
every time you access the Calendar application.
7. Press Save.
Result
Basic authentication is successful, and your phone is integrated with the Microsoft
account.
