Frequently Asked Questions
Possible cause and solution
The appliance is not connected to the power supply.
Check that the appliance is connected to the elec-
tricity supply.
The system lock of the Ice/Water dispenser is active
(the sensor control is highlighted in yellow).
Switch off the system lock (see "System lock" in
"Ice/Water dispenser").
This is not a fault. After the appliance door has
opened and closed, it can take several seconds until
the ice/water dispenser is ready for operation.
The Ice/Water-dispenser spout is blocked by frozen
ice.
Empty the ice-cube tray at the latest if you have
not produced any ice for a week (see "Emptying
and cleaning the ice-cube container" in "Cleaning
and care").
After initial commissioning, it might take up to
24 hours until the first ice cubes are produced.
If you dispense chilled water again after a longer pe-
riod of time, it may be stale.
In this case, pour out the first 15 glasses of water.
